ROCKING THE ‘FRENCH GIRL HAIR’
My hair mission has always been achieving the Kate Moss / Jane Birkin beach hair / bedhead look. After many experiments, my current favored products for styling my hair when it’s dry are Wella’s Extra Volumizing mousse, Wella’s Rugged Texture paste, Lush Sea Salt Spray, and Lush No Drought Dry Shampoo. I love Lush’s products. After my sister used a sample of Lush’s Retread conditioner, I kept smelling her hair every chance I got. Oh wow. What an incredible smell.
I discovered Wella’s products when I visited the Ulta beauty store. My favorite paste is the Rugged Texture. I just take a small bit of it, pinch my bangs and go.
For those of you who like to cut your own long hair like I do, Jilbere’s Professional Texturing Comb with built in razor works really well. You can find this at Sally’s Beauty Supply. Just be careful not to mistake it for a regular comb because you can accidentally cut your hair off when you just wanted to comb it (yes, that has happened to me).
EYE MAKEUP
currently got into Kate Moss’ Rimmel London makeup that you can find at Walgreens. I’m not really a fan of mascara, but I love the Scandaleyes Mascara by Kate Moss in Eye Rock Jet Black. I’m also using Rimmel London’s Smoke N’Shine gel eyeliner pencil in Little Black Smokey. I like the pencil because I like softly smearing the color with its built-in sponge tip.
